There are certain different ways we share information with one another.

Communication takes place at

several levels, and hence numerous forms of communication exist. Here’s a more in-depth look at the
classes of communication: Verbal Communication, Non-Verbal Communication, Written
Communication, Visual Communication, Listening, Online Communication, Group Communication.

Words from a certain language are utilized to convey a message in verbal communication.
Conversations, speeches or presentations, and phone calls are all examples of verbal communication.
Verbal communication is the alternative to non-verbal communication whereby messages are conveyed
silently, either written, in symbols or through body language. It can include oral communication, such as
speaking to another person over the telephone, face-to-face discussions, interviews, debates,
presentations and so on.

Written communication is any type of communication that involves the transmission of information in

written form. Therefore, written communication is the presentation of ideas or essays that make a clear
point, supply details supporting that point, and demonstrate unity and coherence of thought.

Visual communication is another class of communication that people use on a daily basis. When
individuals are watching television or listening to radio programs, then also they are engaged in a form
of communication.

Listening is all about the capability to receive and then interpret the message in the process of
communication accurately. When others are speaking, you should practice active listening, which
includes activating your thoughts and focusing closely on what they are saying.

Online communication is how people communicate, connect, transact to send, retrieve, or receive
information of any kind via the internet using digital media.

Group communication is necessary because it is through messages that groups make decisions, deal
with conflict, and develop the rapport necessary to keep the group going in tough situations.
