SEWA ACTIVITY-Ansh Ashtakala

For my Sewa activity did a fundraiser for Chesire Homes with my classmates
Pranit and Pranav. We met at Pranav’s apartment, Brigade Cosmopolis and
collected funds from one block. We had started collecting funds from 8 O’clock
and we stopped at 11 o’clock. In the end, we had collected 6,000 Rupees. After
this, we went to Chesire homes which is a home for the needy and disabled
people. We were requested to buy basic necessities like water bottles, soaps,
shampoos, powder etc. We then walked to Loyal City and purchased these
basic necessities and donated it to the old age home. We were also left with
some cash which we had donated. They were very thankful we had donated a
lot of essentials and funds. This made us very happy. Through this activity, we
had helped those people in need and it also taught us to be content with the
things which we have. It was a very memorable experience.
