TIC-TAC-TOE

Quest

Are you ready to dive into gamification techtools?

Then this quest is just what you are looking for! Let’s start by playing a game of TIC-TAC-
TOE. Remember that to complete a TIC-TAC-TOE you need to complete a line of three
squares to win. The rule is that they must make a straight line, so choose wisely!
Have you already got the three tools you will explore today? Great! So your next task is to
click on the timestamp that corresponds to your tools in the video below.
Reflect about these questions as you explore each tool:

 What is it best for? (Big groups, small groups, individual learning, etc.)
 What kind of game-based learning or gamification is it suitable for?
 Which language skill does it develop?
You will notice some tools have not been included as they do not apply to teaching
English. If you are as excited to explore all these tools as we are, then you are welcome to
watch the full video and explore them all!
Recommendation: don’t miss the blended learning+gamification time stamp, as you will
see how the different missions you have completed connect.
