"Respect begins with this attitude: I acknowledge that you are a creature of

extreme worth." — Gary Chapman

Respect is an essential Christian value.
God created all people and created them differently for reasons and purpose we
may not understand. Regardless of how we perceive other people to be, they are
God's creations, and its God's will for us to show respect to everyone.
The Bible teaches us to respect differences in our world through stories like The
Good Samaritan and Zacchaeus the Tax Collector.  We use these stories to think
carefully about how we treat others.

Respect can mean simply treating each other with politeness and courtesy and
recognizing that
- everyone's contribution is important and that
- everyone's feelings should be considered.
God has much to say about how He’d like us to treat one another. Most of us
would say that we’d like to be treated with respect.
God wants us to love even our enemies – respect them as well.
Respect may be difficult to give to others but
We can always ask God to let us see people the way He sees them so that even
when you meet people who are difficult, you can still be respectful because you
know God cares for everyone.
