The chart gives us the number of men and women who lives in England, and they were studying
full-time or part-time from 1970/71 to 1990/91. The number of full-time education and part-time
education was increasing and decreasing in some cases.

According to the chart, in the year 1970/71, the number of males who studied part-time was more
than females in the same category. Also, in the years 1990/91, the number of females were
studying part-time just above 1000 and the girls were able to surpass the number of men (900).

However, in the category of full-time, in the beginning, the boys had the highest number, and the
girls had the lowest, but over time, the number of women was increasing quickly until they had
the same number of men, that is in the year 1990/91, the number of girls and boys was studying
full-time was approximately 600000 in all England.
