What are your personal core values and how do you think they contribute to
achieving your goals?

o Most people`s values tend to change over time. Some of my values also
change to match my age and some change because of the experiences
I've gone through, but some persist to this day. Calmness, independence,
respect, openness, friendliness, concern for others, and maturity are
among my core values, ever since undergoing training for more than a
year and a half some of the values that I have developed over the years.
Calmness is one of the values that I have always kept in mind because I
believe that it is one of the most important values that a person can have,
being calm at all times can help me because it enables me to keep my
emotions in check and to be able to think clearly and logically at all times.
Independence is another value that I have kept because I believe working
on my own is the best way to learn and grow. It also enables me to be
able to think independently and to be able to take on any challenges that
come my way. Respect is one of those values that developed in me the
most because it is one of the center values that has been instilled in me as
a cadet, we were taught that respect is a value that was not given but is
earned and that it is something that we should be able to do for others.
Openness can also be the most powerful value that I have developed over
the years because being transparent with others enables me to be able to
help others and to be able to learn from them. Concern for others and
maturity are values that I develop through doing community service as a
cadet since we are expected to be available to help others at all times, I
think it will help me in the future because being mature and being
available to help others grow to the extent that we will grow together is the
best growth that a person can leave as a form of legacy. Thus, I believe
having all these values develop through the years can help me be the best
version of myself and then help me achieve my goals in the future.
