Dative covalent bond contains shared electrons from only one

side of bonding atoms.

There is no overlap of electron density

the center atom N has 1 lone pair and 3 bonding pairs, the

molecule forms trigonal pyramidal shape to minimise the

repulsion between the electrons pairs.
