INTENDED USE
The rigid laryngoscope is a device used to e amine and visualize pa ent s airway and aid placement of tracheal tube.
Laryngoscope is an e amina on device that lets your diagnos cian look at the back of your throat, your voice bo laryn and vocal
cords with a scope laryngoscope . There are two types of laryngoscopes, and each uses as different equipment, namely direct &
indirect laryngoscope.
INDIRECT LARYNGOSCOPE
Indirect laryngoscope are used by diagnos cian in clinics with mouth mirror and handle to view throat laryn .
The diagnos cian uses an e ternal headlight to transmit illumina on into pa ent s mouth for e amina on.
Some diagnos cian uses pen torch as well. Indirect laryngoscope is not done as much now because e ible laryngoscopes let your
diagnos cian see be er and are more comfortable for you.
DIRECT (FLEXIBLE OR RIGID) LARYNGOSCOPE

Direct laryngoscope lets your diagnos cian to see deeper into your throat
laryn . The scope is either e ible or rigid. Fle ible scopes such as FLE -TIP
helps in difficult intuba on and are more comfortable for pa ent and it user.
Rigid scopes are o en used in standard intuba on process.
WE CHOSE HIGH-END CERTIFIED RAW MATERIALS

Medical Devices such as non-sterile, laryngoscopes, supplied by AUG Medical
are comprising Stainless Steel AISI 304 and rass. We buy such materials
from approved suppliers to maintain our quality and standards.
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE
The Laryngoscope should be well illuminate the area under e amina on in order to get perfectly diagnose, otherwise incorrect
informa on could lead to an inappropriate treatment that would present an unacceptable risk to the pa ent.
WARRANTY
Instead of the usual -year guarantee, we offers guarantee of each device for 5 years from the date of delivery from our factory
this e cludes consumables such as bulbs, ba eries and packaging . We guarantee the proper func on of the unit provided it is used
as intended by the manufacturer and according to the instruc ons for use. Any faults or defects which occur during the guarantee
period will be repaired free of charge provided they are caused by faults in material, design or workmanship. In the case of a complaint
of a defect in the product during the guarantee period, the buyer must prove that any such defect was present at the me the product
was delivered. The usual legal guarantee and warranty do not apply to incorrect use, the use of non-original AUG parts or accessories.
Especially bulbs, as these are designed with emphasis on the following criteria Color temperature, life e pectancy, safety, op cal
quality and performance. Also e cluded are repairs or modifica ons made by persons not authorized by AUG or cases where the
customer does not follow the instruc ons supplied with the product. Further claims, in par cular claims for damage not directly related
to the AUG product, are e cluded. For repairs, please contact your distributor, who will return the goods to us or our authorized agent.
