AVAILABLE
ARI have offered positive material identification (PMI)
services for several years now, using our portable hand
held X-ray fluorescence (XRF) device – which is unable
to detect carbon content making it suitable for materials
other than carbon steel.
This left a big gap for identifying carbon steel grades.
ARI have teamed up with Geographe - Bunbury and are
now able to analyse carbon steel using “optical emission
spectrometry” performed and analysed by Metallurgists.
