6–9–4 SAVE RX PROTOCOLS


Save the RX protocols.

Note
Floppy diskette must be formatted prior to this procedure being performed. See section 6–9–1. And
use a blank floppy diskette for RX PROTOCOLS.

The procedure is same as ‘6–9–3 SAVE SYSTEM STATE DATA’.


However, the deference is only step 2. and 4. of 6–9–3 SAVE SYSTEM STATE DATA.
• Step 2. is NOT required.

• In step 4., the click button is Save Rx

6–9–5 SAVE NETWORK DATA


If your Sytec Synergy is networked to some other systems, you must need to write down the NETWORK DATA.

1. From the Main Application menu click on

Utilities

2. From the Utilities Menu click on

More
Utilities

3. From the More Utilities Menu click on

Open
Shell Tool

4. Enter the following commands :

ctmini[x]% SU <ENTER>
password CTmini32 <ENTER>
#sam <ENTER>

5. Select Networking/Communications .

6–9–5 SAVE NETWORK DATA (continued)

6. Click on Open

7. Select Network Interface Card

8. Click on Open

9. Using scroll bar at bottom of Network I/F Card display, scroll to the right to see “Sub Net Mask” field. And record
value displayed.

10. Exit the Network I/F Card display.

11. Select System to System Connectivity

12. Click on Open

13. Select Internet Connectivity

14. Click on Open

It takes approximately 30 seconds to go next step.

15. Write down the following items. The Synergy HOST NAME can be known from the title bar.

Default Gateway Synergy HOST NAME

Internet Remote Comments


Address System name

16. Exit ‘sam’.

17. Exit ’Open Shell’.
