Relationship Motivation Work with Performance Nurse Executor at


Inpatient Room Bhayangkara Hospital SETUKPA Sukabumi City

Nurses are health workers in hospitals who are required to perform well.
Many factors affect the performance of nurses in the hospital, one of which is the
motivation of work. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation
between work motivation and the performance of nurse implementer.
Work motivation is the driving force to do the job. Performance is the
work of a person in carrying out his work. Nurse is someone who has passed the
nursing education, both inside and outside the country in accordance with the
provisions of applicable legislation. Hospitals are health service institutions that
provide full range of personal health services that provide inpatient, outpatient and
emergency care services.
The type of research is correlational research. The population of nurses in
the Inpatient Room of Bhayangkara Hospital SETUKPA with a sample of 39
nurses. Sampling using total. Result of validity test for motivation 15 item, and
performance of 25 item stated valid and reliable. Hypothesis analysis using
spearman rank analysis.
The results showed the nurse's work motivation is good enough, and the
performance is quite good. There is a working motivation relationship with the
performance of nurses in the inpatient wards RS Bhayangkara Hospital
SETUKPA Sukabumi.
Conclusion of research There is a relationship of work motivation with
performance. Suggestions for Bhayangkara Hospital SETUKPA to pay attention
to incentives such as rewards, benefits, medical services and others.
