Based on what we've discussed last meeting, choose one group of people you think/feel you
belong to from Robert Melton's Structural Strain theory.

Conformist. I am certain that I belong to the group of people defined as

conformists wherein I accept the goals of my society and I deliberately follow the norms.
As a striving student, my goal is to graduate and to be successful in the future for my
family, myself, and my country. The desire to contribute in the society is indeed one of
my objectives when I become a professional in the future. In order to fit in the society,
you have to be responsible of yourself because your mindset and actions reflects on what
kind of individual you are. Each of us is carrying a responsibility to help the society
achieve its goals.
