CUSTOMS AND TRADITIONS AROUND BOLIVIA

The culture and customs from Bolivia are amazing and unique. Most of the
Bolivian people are very friendly and kind, so it is not difficult to know more
about their traditions.
The most common form of greeting in Bolivia is the traditional hand shake and
in women it is more usual to greet each other with kisses on the cheek and its
better to ask the people how they’d like to be called. Furthermore, the customs
about our punctuality are not the best since the people here don’t care or take
that seriously, even more in informal situations, so if you're invited to a lunch or
dinner it's expected that you will arrive between 15 and 20 minutes later.
In addition, some do’s and don'ts for table manners are, don't speak while you’re
eating because it’s considered impolite, and wait for the people who are eating
with you.
