Annex 10 to the Guidelines –

A specimen Agreement
between a Beneficiary and a Project Participant

AGREEMENT BETWEEN A BENEFICIARY AND A PROJECT PARTICIPANT

Entered into on 19 September 2022 in Poznań, hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement", between:

WSB University in Poznań, address: 5 Powstańców Wielkopolskich Street, 61-895 Poznań, NIP: 778-10-28-
941, REGON: 630245243, hereinafter referred to as the "University", represented by Dr. Ryszard Sowiński,
Professor of WSB University in Poznań1 – Rector of WSB University in Poznań2, being the Beneficiary within
the meaning of the Agreement for the implementation and financing of the project entitled "Competences
of the Future as the Key to Your Career" (PPI/SPI/2020/1/00073/U/00001 3 (hereinafter referred to as the
Project) as part of the SPINAKER-Intensive International Education Programs 4 (hereinafter referred to as the
Program), concluded with the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, hereinafter referred to as the
"Agreement with the University".

the "Project Participant".

The Parties have agreed the following terms of the Agreement:

SECTION 1 – SUBJECT MATTER OF THE AGREEMENT

1. The Parties have mutually agreed to implement the scholarship exchange under the Program in accord-
ance with the provisions of the Agreement with the University.
2. The Project Participant declares and confirms that he/she has read and accepts the Program documenta -
tion and the obligations imposed on him/her in the Agreement with the University and the documents
mentioned therein.
3. The University will provide the Project Participant with a subsidy on the implementation of a short form
of education e-learning courses "Welcome to Poland" and a specialised course entitled "..........", and on
participation in a summer school to be held from 19 to 23 September 2022 in Poznań ), hereinafter re-
ferred to as the "Activity".
4. The Project Participant accepts the subsidy and undertakes to carry out the Activity referred to in para -
graph 3.

5. The Project Participant declares that he/she has read and accepts the terms and conditions of the Con -
tract. The introduction of any changes to the Agreement requires written form under pain of nullity.

SECTION 2 – DURATION OF THE AGREEMENT

1. The agreement shall enter into force on the date of its conclusion, i.e. upon signature by the last party.
2. The Activity will start on 1 September 20226 and end on 23 September 20227.

SECTION 3 – SUBSIDY ON THE ACTIVITY

1. A subsidy on the costs related to the Activity is a maximum of 2,600.00 PLN (two thousand six hundred
0/100 PLN). The above amount includes travel expenses and the funds for accommodation, visa, and in -
surance costs.
2. The Project Participant will receive a subsidy on the expenses after presenting the University with proof
of the costs incurred for travel to Poznań (a scan of an airline, bus or train ticket and a confirmation of
payment of the travel expenses) and accommodation during the summer school (an invoice/ bill or other
financial document and a confirmation of payment)
3. The Project Participant is obliged to provide, depending on the nature of the Activity, an appropriate cer-
tificate confirming its correct execution. Specimen certificate constitutes Annex 1 to the Agreement.
4. By 20 September, the Project Participant is obliged to provide the University with a correctly filled in
Travel Expense Report. The Travel Expense Report is attached as Annex 2 to the Agreement.

SECTION 4 – PAYMENTS TO THE PROJECT PARTICIPANT

1. Within 15 days from the entry into force of the Agreement, a payment to the Project Participant of a
maximum of 2600,00 PLN will be ordered (the final amount will be determined on the basis of the
Travel Expense Report). The payment will be made by bank transfer to the Participant's account.
2. In the event that the Participant's bank does not support the currency of the University's bank, the Uni -
versity will pay the funds directly to the Project Participant in cash by 22 September 2022 after the Uni -
versity has accepted the Travel Expense Report referred to in Section 3, paragraph 4
3. Payments will be made to the Project Participant's bank account or in cash (based on the Travel Expense
Report and the scholarship award Terms and Conditions).

SECTION 5 – PERSONAL DATA

When concluding this Agreement, the Project Participant is obliged to submit a declaration regarding
personal data, which is attached as Annex 3 to the Agreement. Failure to submit the above declaration by

the Project Participant constitutes grounds for non-payment of funds to the Project Participant and for the
University to withdraw from the Agreement within two weeks from the date of its conclusion, i.e. until 2
October 2022.

SECTION 6 – APPLICABLE LAW AND PLACE OF JURISDICTION

The award and payment of a subsidy under the Program shall be made on the basis of the provisions of the
Agreement, taking into account the provisions of the Agreement with the University. Any disputes relating to
the Agreement will be resolved in accordance with Polish legislation.

SECTION 7 - FINAL PROVISIONS

1. The court having jurisdiction to settle any disputes arising out of the performance of the Agreement
shall be the court having jurisdiction over the University.
2. This Agreement is drawn up in two counterparts, one for each of the Parties.
