Apollo Neuroscience
Apollo Neuroscience
We know life can be stressful, and that doing things that are good for us isn’t always easy. We also
know that current “solutions” for stress often just don’t cut it.
At Apollo, we design tools that empower people to live better lives by providing effective, safe
solutions for anxiety relief & increased performance.
In other words: Less stress, more sleep. Less fatigue, more focus. Less of what you don’t - more of
what you do!
Our goal is to help you feel empowered to be the best version of yourself, by giving you the ability
to shift your state and finally take charge of your own wellbeing.

What is Apollo?
Apollo is a new wearable technology that serves an unmet need in mental health - an effective
way to manage stress in real time. By improving your body’s resilience to stress, you can clear your
head, calm down, focus, sleep, and stay healthy.
Apollo’s scientifically validated technology engages with your sense of touch, training your
nervous system to bounce back more quickly from stress, going from “fight or flight” to “rest and
digest.”

Developed by physicians and neuroscientists, Apollo has been tested in multiple clinical trials and
is proven to improve heart rate variability, a key biometric of resilience to stress.

Why Apollo?
We built Apollo to help solve a fundamental problem – mindfulness alone is not enough to save us
from the mental health crisis. We as humans are not evolving fast enough to deal with the toll that
modern life is taking on our bodies and minds.
The digital revolution is gravely affecting our health and well-
being; leaving us stressed out, underslept, overweight, and
burned-out. While mindfulness practices can help, they’re not
enough on their own.
Learning to meditate, practicing breathwork, and even
establishing a workout routine are physiologically harder to do
when we’re already stressed out. We as humans have an
environment that’s stacked against our natural state, and it’s ok
that we need some help to take back control.
Our team of neuroscientists and physicians developed Apollo
as a technology to help us be more human by working with the
body’s natural ability to heal and recover through one of our
more elemental senses — our sense of touch.

Dr. David Rabin, MD, PhD, is a neuroscientist, board-certified psychiatrist, health
tech entrepreneur & inventor who has been studying the impact of chronic stress
in humans for more than a decade.
He is the co-founder & chief innovation officer at Apollo Neuroscience, which
has developed the first scientifically-validated wearable technology that actively
improves energy, focus & relaxation, using a novel touch therapy that signals
safety to the brain. In addition to his clinical psychiatry practice, Dr. Rabin is
currently conducting research on the epigenetic regulation of trauma responses
and recovery to elucidate the mechanism of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy
and the neurobiology of belief.
Dr. Rabin is the co-founder and executive director of the Board of Medicine, a
501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of physicians and scientists establishing the first
peer-reviewed, evidence-based clinical guidelines for the production and safe
use of currently unregulated alternative medicines, including plant medicines. The
Board of Medicine trains and certifies healthcare providers, as well providing
quality control standards for complementary and alternative medicines to
support high-quality clinical research and best practices in harm-reduction.
Dr. Rabin received his MD in medicine and PhD in neuroscience from Albany
Medical College and specialized in psychiatry with a distinction in research at
Western Psychiatric Institute & Clinic at the University of Pittsburgh Medical
Center. He has been married to his co-founder, Kathryn Fantauzzi, since 2016.
Together they live in Monterey, California.

Apollo is the first technology proven to increase heart rate variability (HRV) under stress. Apollo’s
efficacy has been validated in a number of independent and university-led trials, and there are
more studies in progress focused on sleep, ADHD, and PTSD.
Apollo uses waves of vibration that are demonstrated in both the lab and the real world to change
the balance of our nervous systems through our sense of touch.
The Apollo community is a diverse community who all share a common belief - that
the human body is powerful and we have the capacity to heal. The Apollo
community is made up of:

I need it and it gives me this kind of focus and calm when I need that.
And it feels good. I travel a lot, with lots of jet lag and lots of time
zones. Apollo has been really good at letting me manage that
smoothly.”
