● Blackpink is a South Korean girl group who officially debuted under YG

● They are currently the only girl group in YG Entertainment.
● The group is composed of 4 members: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa.
● The quartet combines the international talents of Korean-born lead vocalist
Jisoo Kim, New Zealand-raised main rapper/vocalist Jennie Kim,
Australian-raised main vocalist Rose Park Chae Young, and Thai lead rapper
Lalisa Manoban (aka Lisa, born Pranpriya Manoban).
● The name of the group came from two contrasting colors, black and pink in
order to represent the group’s two different sides. (savage and feminine side)
● The fans of Blackpink are called Blinks.
● BlackPink debuted with their single album Square One, which featured
their first two chart-toppers, "Boombayah" and "Whistle."
● Collaborated with globally popular artists namely Dua Lipa, Selena
Gomez, and Lady Gaga.
● Since their debut, blackpink has emerged as a prominent act in K-pop and
has been described as the “biggest girl group in the world”.
● The members of BLACKPINK are all faces of famous fashion houses and
global brands.(Jennie for Chanel, Lisa for Celine, Jisoo for Dior and Rosé
for YSL).
