The FUEL FACS system was not accessing database (Master | Data) in SAP hence affecting FAN processing and loading process. | Min 2.0 Agenda: 4. KPC system Failure & way forward 2. AOB | Min 2.1 | KPC System Failure & Way forward The Chairman informed members that due to prolonged system failure experienced during the entire day, it was necessary for the stakeholders to agree on the best way forward He also told the meeting that it was not possible to give a definite timeline of when the system will be restored to normalcy, | however he committed that the technical team will work around the clock to restore the system. It was noted that this was end month period where customers and OMCs need to close out their evacuation targets. Therefore, it was prudent that the depot be opened as soon as the system is restored to normalcy. ‘After deliberating on the matter, the following was agreed by the members; | 4. Kisumu depot has been requested to be opened tomorrow (30.10.2021) to ease Eldoret pressure and OMCs are advised to lift products the depot.
