Office last May 2022, I am seeking the opportunity to apply myself to the vacant position, as a
Police Officer to your company. I have three years of experience working as a police officer for
the Albuquerque Police Department, and am a graduate of the Albuquerque Police Academy. I
believe that I have the requisite skills and abilities to perform the duties you've stipulated
exceptionally well.

During my three years of experience, I performed area patrols on foot, in patrol cars, and
by bicycle and responded to traffic incidents, domestic disputes, and criminal activity reports.
My performance was above standard, and I was frequently praised for my calm and authoritative
demeanor even during moments of tension and hostility. Both my academic studies and
academy training were extremely intense and designed to prepare a police officer for a variety of
situations.
