Gestalt

Worked with Gill Naylor, the lady who trained gestalt therapists in the UK, for five years. She urged me to
write, but I never did.

Various training courses in Ireland and Portugal (Gill came here three times).
Gestalt is primarily concerned with deconstructing the fabricated and letting the real come to the fore.
Very similar to the Gurdjieff work.

The real is to be found in the subconscious (or unconscious).

Nothing "real" will be found in your everyday consciousness.

This is why we do not talk of God, spirit, compassion, gratitude, enlightenment, love, peace -
words are android stuff.
Our growing understanding of ourselves is food for our "essence" for the Principle as Benoit
calls it.
If we deny the android a claim to these things then we will know real benevolence, peace, love,
compassion etc, and it will devastate you.
All we are asked to do is be honest with ourselves - the most difficult thing a person can undertake,
and help is nearly always needed.
