"The Chiefs" and PCOO Usec”

There was miscommunication between Lorraine Badoy and “The Chiefs” due to

Lorraine Badoy’s red-tag, red herring, and ad hominem of the issue at hand during the

interview. The reason why I mentioned this is during the interview, Ibon Foundation

fact checked and was contextualizing about the figures that the government reported and

disputed some of said key points. These were the number of jobs and the number of

Filipinos that was lifted out of poverty. According to Philstar Interasksyon by Madarang

(January 2020), Lorraine Badoy instead resorted to make accusations against to an

organization rather than focusing on the issue and topic of the program. When she started

accusing the research group by using the new people’s army as a front. From her she was

corrected by Lingao that both Ibon and the Communist Coalition are legal to their legal

repeal of the anti-subversion law, but Lorraine Badoy went on to claim that it was to

overthrow the government derailing the topic at hand, with constantly derailing the topic

and of course when she was given an intellectual topic she instead rebuts them by using

evidences that has no correlation to the topic during the interview and when she does it

cause mass confusing on what is going on and that giving out intense miscommunication

to everyone during said interview it began in a heated argument between Badoy and

Guzman, with Lingao and Alampay asking for Badoy to focus on the agenda of this

interview instead of trying to derailing the topic to make it seem like she is the smart one

during the whole ordeal. So why did I say this was a miscommunication between Ibon

foundation and Lorraine Badoy? Because Badoy failed to listen of the rebuttal, instead

she decided to red tag causing that behavior for all parties to be confused as what is she

talking about causing a heated debate, and at the end they hosts urged her to go back on

track because they realized that this off rails debate is not being related to the program.
