Executive Summary

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between performance evaluation and organizational success. I chose to study this issue on National Bank of Pakistan, MCB, Meezan Bank & Bank Alflaah in District D.G.Khan in order to contrast where there is effectiveness in performance evaluation and organizational success in public or private organizations. performance management is viewed as a tool for performance evaluation and organizational success and can allow for t e h generation of a co-operative and mutually beneficial relationship between the organization and its staff. Performance management is a means of promoting the organizations' ability to accomplish its mission of maintaining or improving what it provides while at the same time seeking to maintain or enhance staff satisfaction and success. Therefore, it is important for an organization to study the relationships between these two variables. A survey was made to collect the information for demographic, performance evaluation and organizational success of each employee. Altogether, 70 employees responded to the survey. The results from the survey on performance evaluation were compared to the results reported for the level of organizational success. In light of the findings of the research, a realistic, cost-effective, non-threatening, and progressive staff performance evaluation has been recommended for implementation at the organizations. In short, this supportive and developmental performance evaluation will bridge the gap between individual and organizational goals and objectives. Consequently, the research hopes to raise awareness that effective performance evaluation in an educational institution is imperative to its short- and long-term development and success. The smooth operation of the human resource of an organization ensures that the staff are receiving the type of instruction that they need, thereby, ensuring that they achieve their organization goals and reach their optimal potential. Thus, performance evaluation is viewed as a tool for professional and organizational development and can allow for the generation of a co-operative and mutually beneficial relationship between the organization and its staff.
