1. INTRODUCTION
HELLO I AM KELVIN, THIS TIME I WILL TELL YOU MY
EXPERIENCE OF MY TRIP TO AYACUCHO.

I made my trip this year. Ayacucho is

located in the mountains of Peru.

The languages spoken are Quechua

and Spanish.

The climate is temperate and warm.

2. CULTURAL DIFFERENCES

In Ayacucho you can see some works of

architecture of the Incas, such as the citadel
of VILCASHUMAN. You can also see the great
Inca road "El Qhapaq Ñan".
The main festival in Ayacucho is the carnival
and they celebrate it throughout the month of
February and March.

It is also a very religious region. During Holy

Week, the entire population attends the
processions and churches. Likewise, the city
of Ayacucho is known for its 33 churches.
The typical dish that you must try is "PUCA
PICANTE". It is made with pork, potatoes and
beets.

Ayacucho is known as the "cradle of South

American independence". There we can find
the monument to the independence of Peru.
The celebration takes place on December 9 of
each year in the "PAMPAS DE LA QUINUA".
There are also several
waterfalls and places with hot
springs such as "NIÑOBAMBA" or
"HUATATAS".
The altarpieces of Ayacucho are Cultural
Heritage of the Nation and have their origin in
the colonial era when the Spanish priests in
the process of evangelization toured all the
towns of the Peruvian highlands.
