Unusual Clothing
In this writing activity, students learn about unusual articles of clothing.

Before class, make one copy of the worksheet for each group of three.

Procedure

Divide the class into groups of three. Give each group a copy of the worksheet.

Tell them that the twenty words are all unusual articles of clothing and that they must decide if
each one is worn above or below the belt (i.e. the waist).

Tell the groups they have five minutes and start them all at the same time.

When the time limit is up, have the groups exchange papers for marking and check the answers
orally.

The team with the highest score is the winner.
