What’s new in Reason Drum Kits 2.

0
The goal with making an update to Reason Drum Kits was to make it easier to
use, faster to work with and wider in scope. We wanted to make full use of the
features in Reason 3.0. We also wanted to include a few more snare drums
we were thinking of. The result is what you now have in your hand, Reason
Drum Kits 2.0. We chose to call it 2.0 because we feel it’s such a big step
forward from RDK 1.0. It’s not a huge expansion in samples from RDK 1.0 but
the usability is improved immensely. Below are the hard facts. You be the
judge of our success in reaching our goal.

2 Snare Drums – Two snappy, hypersampled quality snare recordings

added.

All Preset Kits reworked into Combinator patches – Each instrument gets
it’s own dedicated NN-XT. This improves the control possibilities and makes it
really easy to mix and match different drums.

13 Combinator Producer Kits – Elaborate, ready to go, versatile, great

sounding kits making use of everything in the Reason rack.

20 Combinator Style Kits – Based on the Style Templates, that were in turn
updated for this release.

7 Preset Kits – Seven fresh kits spanning from 70's Soul and Funk styles to
modern day Alternative flavors. Based around the new Snare Drums.

25 ReDrum Sets – Mirroring the new Preset Kits.

Improved HiHat mapping – We’ve tweaked velocity mappings and sample

layers to make the HiHat easier to control and for a better end result. Old
versions are included as well, in the Legacy folder.

Have fun!
