Ease of Handling ‘lana HOPE pip weigh considerably as than pipoe trade Fom convertond eters Bical it ony Mato 110 the weight of cast fon, el of concrete pipes used forthe same service. This affords signifeant favings in Vensportation and installation by reducing ‘manpower and equipment need toa minimum, High Chemical Resistance Atlrta HOPE pipe has replaced steal stainless stl, cast on and concrete piping whete. chemical of comoaion reastance a reqved e's elstat to atack boats, beses salts end many hyeroearbon materi In edaiton, even the most aggresive sol wil not Coed Atlanta HDPE piping Flexible Atlanta HOPE pipe is flexible, providing ease of installation. It ean be curved, snaked, inserted or lid aiong natural ground contours, thereby reducing installation costs and equipment requirements Lowest Flow Resistance ‘The smooth interior of this pipe provides for higher flow design factors. The Hazen-Willems water flow coefficient for Atlanta HDPE pipe e150 to 155, ae Menning *n" value fs epproximately 0.009, Resistance: to scaling and corrosion slows the pipe to mointan ite ‘excellent flow properties throughout service life, Tight Joints Lightweight Can be easy handled and installed because the weight ‘of PE pipe i just 1/7 of too pipes. Safe for Potable Water and Other Fluids Because Aanta HOPE piping does not contaminate fluid with metalic ions, itis often used inthe ‘ransporation of pure materials, including ceionized water. Atlanta HOPE piping materials also meet with the approval ofthe Bureau of Product Standards forthe ‘wansport of potable water Impact Resistance PE pipes doesn’ breakup to-20°C Abrasion Resistance Atlanta HOPE pipe has smooth, tough interior surfaces ‘which make i on excellent material for conveying a variety of abrasive ures. A choice of jointing systems is available depending ‘upon the application and the size ofthe Atlanta HOPE Pipe, These include butt fusion, elactrofuson, socket fusion, extrusion welding, mechanical connectors and compression type fitings.
