Transmission acknowledgement report – Inbound transmissions

1. Create external system

The URL to which the acknowledgment is to be sent will be provided by the SAP PI middleware development
team, along with the user id and password for authentication

2. Create a contact , add the external system ID

3. Ensure the AckSpec tags are added on to the TransmissionHeader of every inbound transmission for which
acknowldgement is required.

- Communication method : HTTPPOST

- The AckOption should have the value YES
- The contact ID would be the contact we created with the external system
