Quarantine Policy

1. If the test result of the employee/learner came out positive for COVID-19, he or she must
immediately notify the School Physician and/or the Safety Officer.
a. If the employee/learner who has been a close-contact is fully-vaccinated, they may
undergo a shortened seven (7)-day quarantine period, provided that the
employee/learner remains asymptomatic for the duration of the seven-day period
with the first day being the date immediately after the last exposure.
b. If the employee/learner experiences any COVID-19 symptoms within the (7)-day
quarantine period, he/she must immediately notify the School Physician and/or the
Safety Officer.
c. If unvaccinated, he/she must finish the fourteen (14)-day quarantine period.
d. While in quarantine, the employees/learners must self-monitor the following:
1. Body temperature twice a day
2. Development/worsening of COVID-19 symptoms
Note: Update the School Physician/Safety Officer from time to time.
e. Once the quarantine period of the employee/learner has been completed, he/she
must present a Quarantine Certificate from their barangay before entering the
premises.
2. If the test result of the employee/learner came out negative for COVID-19, he/she must:
a. If fully vaccinated, they may undergo a shortened seven (7)-day quarantine period,
provided that the employee/learner remains asymptomatic for the duration of the
seven-day period with the first day being the date immediately after the last
exposure.
b. If unvaccinated, he/she must finish the fourteen (14)-day quarantine period.
c. Once the quarantine period of the employee/learner has accomplished, he/she
must present a Quarantine Certificate from their barangay before entering the
premises.
