"Life Is Life" your life is your life

don’t let it be clubbed into dank submission.
Well he used to be somebody be on the watch.
And now he's someone else there are ways out.
Took apart his old life there is a light somewhere.
Left it on the shelf it may not be much light but
Sick of being someone it beats the darkness.
He did not admire be on the watch.
Took up all his old things the gods will offer you chances.
Set em all on fire know them.
take them.
He's gonna change you can’t beat death but
Gonna change his ways you can beat death in life, sometimes.
Gonna change and the more often you learn to do it,
Gonna change his ways the more light there will be.

And it feels like his new life can start know it while you have it.
And it feels like heaven you are marvelous
the gods wait to delight
Left his house at midnight in you.
Resolute and young
In search of something greater
Than the person he'd become
Threw his bags on to the back
Of his run down eighties car
Headed out to god knows where
The distance is too far
