online stock and choose the quantity required. You can save the time otherwise lost in waiting in lengthy queues
for billing and payments by easily adding the chosen items to your cart online. Flipkart Supermart, established in
2018 is one of the most demanded and booming verticals of Flipkart in Bangalore. The workforce at the Grocery
Supply Chain facilities (Fulfillment Center, Last Mile hubs) varies from 8K to 12K, depending on season.
By the end of November 2021, with the support of Flipkart’s already established Supply chain, Grocery division was
able to create and expand its footprint in 4100+ pincodes and 470+ cities.
Grocery Supermart business serves the categories like Staples, Snacks & Beverages, Packaged Foods, Personal &
Baby Care, Household Care, Dairy & Eggs as well as Fruits & Vegetables in selected pincodes.
Flipkart Grocery strives to become the leading and sustainable platform delivering value and unparalleled customer
experience in the country by the end of 2023.

The team is keenly looking to scale up the transacting customer base by providing a superior customer experience.
But the business is facing a lot of supply chain delivery-related challenges which are adversely impacting the
customer experience.
