PETITION
COMES NOW, petitioners LUAN ACOSTA, APOLLO ACOSTA
AND ARTEMIS ACOSTA, by and through the undersigned counsel
unto this Honorable Court, respectfully states, THAT:

Petitioner LUAN ACOSTA (Luan for brevity) is 75 years of age,

widow, and a resident of #5 Quezon St., Brgy. Quezon, Arevalo, Iloilo
City, Philippines where she may be served with summons, court
notices and other processes of this Honorable Court;

Petitioner APOLLO ACOSTA (Apollo for brevity) is 30 years of

age, Filipino Citizen, married and a resident of #86 Visayas Avenue,
Brgy. Vasra, Quezon City, Philippines where he may be served with
summons, court notices and other processes of this Honorable Court;

Petitioner ARTEMIS ACOSTA (Artemis for brevity) is 27 years

of age, single, and a resident of Rada St., Oton, Iloilo, Philippines
where she may be served with summons, court notices and other
processes of this Honorable Court;

Petitioner Luan, as the widow, and Petitioners Apollo and

Artemis, as the children, are the compulsory heirs of the of the
decedent VALENTIN ACOSTA. Copies of the Marriage Certificate of
Luan and Birth Certificates of Apollo and Artemis are hereto attached
and marked as Annexes “A”, “B”, and “C” respectively ;

Decedent died on 4th of March, 2022, at the City of Iloilo which

was the place of his residence at the time of his death. A copy of the
Death Certificate of Valentin Acosta under Registry No. 2022-00456 is
hereto attached and marked as Annex “D”;

The decedent died intestate, without a Will or Testament, and

without any outstanding debts in favor of any person or entity;

VII

The decedent left several properties at the time of his death,

consisting of 1000 shares invested in YG Entertainment Company
amounting to ten million (P10,000,000.00) pesos. A copy of the issued
Stock Certificate under the name of Valentin Acosta is hereto
attached and marked as Annex “E”;

The decedent also is the registered owner of the parcels of land

covered by Lot No. 3796-A under TCT No. T-22075 with an assessed
value of six million (PhP 6,000,000.00) pesos and Lot No. 3796-B
under TCT No. 205768 with an assessed value of four million (PhP
4,000,000.00) pesos, more particularly described as follows:

TRANSFER CERTIFICATE OF TITLE

NO. T-22075

“A parcel of land (lot 3796-A, Psd-06-053573, being portion

of Lot 3796, Oton, Cad. 246), situated in the Poblacion, Mun. of
Oton Prov, of Iloilo, Island of Panay, Bounded on the SW., along
lines 1-2-3 by Prov’l. Road; on the NW., along line 3-4 by Lot 44,
Dingle Cad. 246; on the NE., along lines 4-5-6 by Lot 3796-B of this
Subd., survey; on the SE., along lines 6-7-1 by Lot 3797, Dingle Cad.
246. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan, being S. 50-45 E.,
154.17 m. from BBM#45, Dingle Cad. 246; xxx Containing an area of
FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY THREE (453) SQUARE METERS, more or
less.”

TRANSFER CERTIFICATE OF TITLE

NO. T-205768

“A parcel of land (Lot 3796-B, Psd-06-053573, being a

portion of Lot 3796, Oton Cadastre 246), situated in the Poblacion,
Mun., of Oton, Prov. Of Iloilo, Island of Panay. Bounded on the
SW., along Lines 1-2-3 by lot 3796-A of this subd. survey; along line
7-1 by Lot 3797 Oton Cadastre Cad. 246. Beginning at a point
marked “1” on plan being, S. 63-04 E., 162.24 meters from BBM No.
45, Dingle Cad. 246, Containing an area of THREE HUNDRED
THIRTY FIVE (335) SQUARE METERS, more or less.”

A copy of the Tax Declaration No. 20-35-015-19553 under the

name of Valentin Acosta is hereto attached and marked as Annex
“F”.
 PRAYER

WHEREFORE, premises considered, Petitioners most

respectfully prays to this Honorable Court that after due notice and
hearing, that judgment be rendered declaring:

a. The abovementioned properties of deceased VALENTIN

ACOSTA be settled and partitioned among the surviving
and compulsory heirs; and

b. Other reliefs as me be deemed just and equitable.

married and a resident of #86 Visayas Avenue, Brgy. Vasra, Quezon
City, Philippines with TIN 276-564-654-000 bearing my photograph
and signature respectively; and

c. ARTEMIS ACOSTA is 27 years of age, single, and a resident

of Rada St., Oton, Iloilo, Philippines with TIN 453-621-749-000
bearing my photograph and signature respectively,

after having been duly sworn into in accordance with law,

hereby depose and say that:

1. We are the PETITIONERS in the above-entitled case;

2. We have caused the preparation of the herein Petition;

3. The allegations in this pleading are true and correct based on

my personal knowledge and based on the authentic records of
this case;

4. I testify that (a) I have not commenced any action or

proceeding involving the same issue or subject matter, and
specifically the same in the Supreme Court, the Court of
Appeals or any other tribunal or agency and that to the best of
my knowledge, no such action or proceeding is pending
therein; (b) if there is such pending action or claim, a complete
statement of the present status thereof; (c) if I should learn
thereafter that a similar action or proceeding has been filed or is
pending before these courts or tribunal or agency, I undertake
 to report that fact to the Court within five (5) calendar days
form discovery of the same.
