Concept Statement
Harajuku-inspired pastels and Indian craft with a modern twist

Ideology: To use local materials and traditional Indian craft

Client Brief: Lucky Chan was to be a youthful, trendy and casual


Asian restaurant, and it was also going to have the city’s first-ever
first sushi conveyor belt.

Because it's a residential building, the space


is divided up into a series of rooms.
The interior design scheme gives each room
its own character, but they all share an

eclectic mix of colour, pattern and material.

Lucky Chan can be divided up into five
different zones: the main dining room, the
open-air section, the passageway, the sushi
