What is your personal philosophy as a student nurse caring for mothers and their
children? 1 PARAGRAPH ONLY.

As a student nurse my personal philosophy for caring mothers and their children
is characterized by comprehensive, compassionate, and cultural awareness. For me,
nursing is about compassion and a desire to comprehend people on all emotional,
physical, and physiological levels. This includes caring for the mother and her family
throughout pregnancy and childbirth, as well as health promotion and disease treatment
for children and families. As a student nurse, I feel that caring for mother and child is a
challenging role since it creates a higher level of wellness in families. Lastly, my
personal philosophy about caring for mother and child is to offer primary health care to
mothers and children and prevent malnutrition and illness.
