Studio Ghibli Creates Magic

The Japanese animation production company has a long career full of films of the genre, such as
My neighbor Totoro or Porco Rosso, among many others, making it one of the best animation
studios in the world. His works have been part of the childhood of many people, for more than 3
decades shows us that the traditional techniques of cartoons, are more alive than ever. The name
comes from an Italian model aircraft used during World War II to fly over and explore the Sahara.
In turn, it was the Italian term used to refer to the sandy, dry wind blowing in that desert, and
Miyazaki and Takahata chose it as a metaphor for the new winds blowing in the animation
industry.

Throughout its history, the love and respect for nature, family, friendship and Japanese culture
were the key themes and morals derived from the films of the Ghibli brand. They are also
characterized by the art and style of drawing, and the techniques used, always traditional, and
gradually have been introducing digital techniques, being 'The Journey of Chihiro' (2001) the first
