In 2019, the bad state of the roads (that can be due to the whether), have been the subject of

thousands of complaints. To get rid of this problem, the university of Liverpool have created a
company called Robotiz3d. The aim of this society is to guarantee security and maintain the roads
by making robots that will patrol UK roads to find and repair cracks in bitumen. Those vehicles
should not only secure the roads, but also save a lot of money, they can even detect the less visible
cracks.
Other universities have tried to work with a drone equipped with an asphalt 3D printer
which will repair the cracks by flying over the roads.

For the moment, those robots aren’t ready yet, but when they will, they will be able to
improve the state of the roads in an effective way
