Wartenberg's Sign refers to the slightly greater abduction of

the fifth digit, due to weakness or paralysis of the adducting


palmar interosseous muscle and unopposed action of the radial
innervated extensor muscles (digiti minimi, digitorum
communis ).[1]This should not be confused with Wartenberg's
Syndrome which is described as the entrapment of the superficial branch of the radial nerve [2] with
only sensory manifestations and no motor deficits.

The belly-off sign represents the inability of the patient to maintain the palm of the hand attached to
the abdomen with the arm passively brought into flexion and internal rotation

Ely’s test or Duncan-Ely test is used to assess rectus femoris spasticity or tightness

The Mennell's sign is a pain-provocation test that is used to examine degenerative progress in
the sacroiliac joint
