CASE STUDY 2

Ms. Lim, 45 years old, has severe painful menstrual cramps accompanied by nausea and
depressed feeling. She goes to a TCM clinic, and is diagnosed with blood stasis and Qi
stagnation problem. The doctor gives her the following prescription:

1. Semen Persicae/ Peach Kernel (Tao Ren 桃仁)

3. Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Dang Gui 当归)
