In today's class, you will learn how to make yes/no questions and Information
questions
in Present Simple Tense.
To form yes/no questions in the Present Simple Form, we use:
Auxiliary “do” or “does”
+ subject
+ verb
+ complement.
Remember to place the question mark at the end of a question.
For example:
Do you like vegetables?
Do – auxiliary,
you – subject,
like – verb
vegetables – complement
? – question mark
You may answer these questions in short form:
Yes, I do.
affirmative
No, I don't.
negative
Let's see some new examples:
Does she plant trees?
Yes, she does.
No, she doesn't.
Does he eat meat?
Yes, He does.
No, He doesn't.
Does it taste well?
Yes, it does.
No, it doesn't.
Do we talk too much?
Yes, we do.
No, we don't.
Do they cry a lot?
Yes, they do
No, they don't

and question mark.
Our answer is:
I sleep at my grandma's house today.

Remember that it is necessary to use the auxiliary DO before the subject.

Does he listen to pop music?
