Writing Activity
Writing Activity 1. Email letter to a friend.
You are the editor of a university magazine. You need to write a 3-paragraph article about people’s
“Bucket list”. Tell your readers the things you have/haven’t done; places you have/haven’t visited;
etc.

Speaking Activity
Activity: Talk about the past.
1. Prepare your ideas and talk about what you have and haven’t done yet.

LITTLE PRETTY TOWNS

One of the things that I like the most is travelling. In the last three years I have known a lot of amazing towns
in my coffee region. In most of them I have learnt and enjoyed the cultural wealth, the kindness of the
people and the wonderful landmarks.

One of the most memorable towns that I have visited has been the beautiful town of Filandia Quindío. In this
place I have known houses in colonial architecture, handicraft wealth, I have tasted its delicious gastronomy
and I have interacted with awesome people.

One place that I haven’t traveled and I would like to travel is the Piedra del Peñol, in order to know the town
of Guatape, to have the chance of climb the rock, to sail the lake and to visit the colorful houses of the town.
Some friends have had the opportunity to travel there, they have told my that it is so wonderful.

I am a person who likes the challenges and despite of I have flown in helicopter I haven’t done bungee
jumping, I haven’t jumped of parachute, and I haven’t snorkeled, I would like to do it in the future.
