The fortress remained far from the front lines of battle
for most of its existence. Many skorne thought it to be
impervious and untouchable, but those assumptions were
shattered with the sudden betrayal of a temporary ally.

MYRMIDON WORKSHOP
Shas Luynmyr (male Iosan arcane mechanik) is the senior
mechanik at the Abyssal Fortress. He struggles to keep the
myrmidon force, currently standing at ten light and four
heavy myrmidons, in working order. Luynmyr is a skilled
craftsman, but even he has been forced to cut corners and
make do with limited spare parts. He has struggled to train
several dozen assistants from the Houseguard soldiers in the
fortress, which help him in his seemingly endless work, but
he is still forced to work with insufficient supplies. Several
of the myrmidons are earmarked for disassembly so the
mechanik can have a set of spare components to work with,
but he is reluctant to make such a sacrifice.

how someone acquires these supplies, observing a strict
“no questions asked” policy. Dawnguard Captain Syvas
supports the mechanik in this and is ready to trade for the
full value of any chassis, cortex, or weapon system using
the fortress’ limited supplies.
