REPORT
The R T Nagar Local Association organised Summer Camp under the guidance of Bharath Scouts and
Guides, Karnataka for the scouts and guides of RT Nagar Public School on 21-04-2022 at RT Nagar Public
School, Bangalore North District.

Rangers and Rovers from Seshadripuram college (4Rangers+4Rovers) were invited as Resource Person to the
camp. The unit Travelled from KBS Majestic to RT Nagar in BMTC bus and reached the school premises by
9:30am.

Start of the day:

At 10:00am the camp assembled which had a strength of 48 Guides & 32 Scouts , we were introduced to the
camp as we were invited there as Resource Person in order to teach the Scouts and Guides aspirants about
Scouting and Guiding movement. The camp was divided into Crew and Troop and were taught by divided
into 4 patrols, each patrol was handed over to each person among us(Seshadripuram Rangers and Rovers
unit) to teach them the basic Knots and Bandages. Ropes and Scarfs were distributed to everyone and all the
knots(7 basic+1 Advance) were taught to them. A competition was conducted to check the results for
whatever was taught. Most of the Scouts and Guides were able to tie the knots and Bandages correctly. Later
after a break (12:30 noon). Both scouts and guides combined were taught the Estimation and Compass for
the practical application in Scouting. Lunch was served at 1:30pm.
