DANGEROUS DRUGS ACT OF 2020 (RA NO. 9165)

This act safeguards the well-being of its citizenry, particularly the youth,
from the harmful effects of dangerous drugs on their physical and mental
well-being and to defend the same against acts or omissions detrimental
to their development and preservation. In view of the foregoing, the State
needs to enhance further the efficacy of the law against dangerous drugs,
it being one of today’s more serious social ills.
 THE GOOD
EFFECT OF THE
ACT

 The possible rampant of dangerous drugs

would lessen.
 The drug dealers and drug lords would get
caught.
 The spread of drugs around the country
would lessen.
 Young people who are very prone to such
temptation would get protected.
 Not only none users but also the users of
dangerous drug would be safeguarded by
the authorities, but only if the users
surrender themselves and decides to go to
a rehabilitation center.
 This act aims to protect the citizen’s
physical and mental well-being.
 This act would help lessen the crimes
BY because some criminals have done crimes
due to the effect of the dangerous drugs.
