1 Activity performed

Parameters calibration operations are very important for the accuracy of the systems.
In fact a wrong calibration gives values that can be not reliable, and consequently measured data
may be not consistent.
By using a remote connection to the vehicle and with the cooperation of our on-site technician
Nicolas Charanton has been performed the calibration of the gauge and cant values.
The gauge and cant calibration must be performed when the vehicle is stationary, putting the sample
instrument under the vehicle in correspondence of the optical station (in correspondence with the
laser sheet).
The manual measurement provided by Nicolas are:

 Gauge value= 1433 mm


 Cant value= 0
Those values have been inserted in the MERMEC system, the calibration was successful.
