 Which media provider did you spend the most time?

Based on my media use log, Google is the data provider that I spend the most
time. I spend an estimated 50 hours using this in a week. Since we are all in a new
normal set-up, we students are now using Google Classroom for our online learning. I
use it for about 5 hours in the morning from 7:00-12:00 PM during our online class and
2 hours in the evening to do my homework. Messenger is also the media that I use a lot.
I use it to communicate with my friends and my love ones. This media is now important
to a lot of us since we are in the middle of pandemic.
 What roles does media play in your lives? (leisure, learning, communication, etc.)
Media becomes an integral part of my everyday life. I use it most of the time for
leisure but I’m also using media for learning and of course for communication.
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Tiktok serves as a leisure app for me. I use
these apps when I am bored and when I have free time. Since I’m too lazy to watch in
television, these apps also help me informed about some news and things happening
around. Next is Google, Google serves as a learning medium for us students. I use it
whenever I have an online class and when I’m doing my assignments. Lastly is
Messenger, this app serves as a communication tool for me. I use it to connect with my
friends and family. Using messenger, I can also video call my loved ones that are far
from me. Seeing their face in the screen whenever I video call them is like seeing them
in person. These are the roles that media play in my life. By using media, it is easier and
more convenient to access information, provide information and communicate.
