Countable and Uncountable nouns

In English nouns can be countable and uncountable.


Countable nouns:singular
Eg.a sock,a frog,a beefburger
Countable nouns:plural
Eg.some apples,some sausages,
Uncountable nouns:
some bread,some water

We use a with singular nouns,and some with plural nouns and


uncountable nouns.
Would
We use would for polite requests and questions
Eg.Would you open the door, please? (more polite than: Open the door, please.)
Eg.Would you go with me? (more polite than: Will you go with me?)

Could
We use could to ask for something in a polite way
Eg.Could I have some sugar, please?(more polite than:Can I have some
sugar,please?)
Eg.Could I have some biscuits,please?(more polite than:Can I have
some biscuits,please?)
