As of September 4, 2022, a total of 3,889,160 COVID-19 cases, 3,803,627 recoveries, and 61,962

confirmed deaths had been recorded in the Philippines since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fortunately, the risks of hospitalizations and deaths were lower.

But, the pandemic is not yet over.

Anytime, cases and deaths may rise again.

Even though the government has lifted restrictions, face-to-face classes have resumed, and people can
travel freely regardless of age or comorbidity, we should not lower our guards - and masks.

Here are the things we should keep in mind to prevent the outbreak of COVID-19:

1. Stay at home and only go out if absolutely necessary.

2. When going outside, always wear a face mask.
3. Observe social distancing with 1 meter apart.
4. Bring and use alcohol to sanitize at all times.
5. Always wash your hands with soap and water.
6. Get vaccinated.

We are all in this trial together. We should not “give up” or “neglect” precautions at this crucial juncture
of the pandemic. Let's work together to defeat COVID-19!
