Penggunaa There is and There are

Secara umum, penggunaan “There is” dan “There are” di awal kalimat harus menyesuaikan
kata benda yang menyertainya. “There is” dan “There are” artinya adalah “ada”.
Jika kata benda tunggal (manusia, tempat, hewan), harus menggunakan “There is”. Dan jika
kata benda jamak,(Lebih dari satu) harus menggunakan “There are”.
Contohnya :
 There is a cat = Ada kucing (kucing disini berarti tunggal, jadi menggunakan “There is”)
 There are two cats = Ada dua kucing (kucing disini berarti jamak, jadi menggunakan “There
are”)
