LEANY APRILIA: LITERATURE REtUEWS: FACTORS RELATED TO THE EVENT OF CORONARY


HEART DISEASE

Preliminary research: Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is a disease in which the blood vessels that supply
food and oxygen to the heart muscle are blocked. Factors causing coronary heart disease are divided into internal
factors and external factors.
Study objectives: to determine the factors associated with the incidence of coronary heart disease.
Method: It used three data bases literature review, namely Garuda, Google Scholar and Pudmed, while
the research design uses Analytical Survey with case control approach, Cross Sectional, quantitative descriptive
published in 2017 to 2019.
Results: The ten articles that met the inclusion criteria, and it was found that the factors associated with
the incidence of coronary heart disease are internal factors (age, gender, and family/genetic history, external
factors (BMI, diabetes, cholesterol, hypertension, smoking, and physical activity).
Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is a relationship between age, gender, family/genetic history,
BMI, diabetes, cholesterol, hypertension, smoking, and physical activity on the incidence of coronary heart disease.
