Is Honesty Always the Best Policy?

In my opinion, the truth is not always the best option. and so many
people on our planet think. Sometimes it is better to lie so as not to
upset a person. I can cite a situation from life. One day I accidentally
met my friend in town. She asked me for advice. She had very long hair
and so she wanted a square hairstyle. I tried to dissuade her because I
realized that such a hairstyle would not suit her very well. A week later I
met her again. She already had the new hairstyle she wanted. But I
didn't say it wasn't good. Because she was very happy with this
hairstyle. And I just couldn't do it.

Crime Never Pays

I think that's a pretty good expression. In fact, anyone can potentially

commit a crime. Even mentally healthy, who in an awkward situation
will also try to find a way out. And the chosen path will not always be
legal. Another thing - intentionally or unintentionally she committed a
crime. For example, robbery. On the one hand, it is possible and easier
to rob someone than to work hard to earn money to buy something.
But on the other hand, it is first of all dishonesty to oneself. You admit
that you can't make money, that you can't work properly, and that
you're a loser if you take that step. In addition, you will get a lot of
problems with the law and the attitude of others towards you will be
bad. I don't think it's worth it.
Integrity Is Doing the Right Thing Even When No One Is Watching.

I think that's a pretty good expression.

When you are honest with everyone, you are first and foremost honest
with yourself. I would like to give a very pertinent example. My friend
owns a clothing store on Instagram. And every day she does not receive
large sums from customers. And once she received a very large amount
in the account. One of her customers put an extra zero in the amount
and sent it that way. He didn't even notice it and just waited for the
order that was to come to him soon. But my friend acted honestly. She
told the client about it and later sent the money back. For this she
received extra money. I believe that even if she did not receive a
reward, she would still do so. I've known her for a long time. And I
know she's always very honest with other people. And that's great.

What Is and Isn’t Art?

There are many categories in our lives that we use, but we do not
always understand their meaning correctly. Sometimes this is why
people find themselves in very unpleasant situations, presenting
themselves as stupider than they really are. It is for this reason that it is
so important to skillfully convey your understanding of a category or
problem to other people.
One such extremely important category is art.
So what is art?I believe that art itself should be designed not only for
the one who creates it, but also for a large number of different people.
Speaking of specifics, we can say that art are writing paintings, creating
music, sculptures and even writing books.

The Performance that Impressed Me Most.

I can't say that there is any one performance that Impressed me. There
are many of them. These are the daily appeals of the President of
Ukraine Volodymyr Zelansky to Ukrainians. During all these months of
the war, he records video appeals every day with news that happened
during this time. It seems to me that there was not a day that he did
not write down his appeal to Ukraine also in his Telegram channel . It
means a lot. After all, not all presidents are able to do it at least once a
week or even a month in peacetime. It is extremely difficult for the
president to devote time to this. Because he has regular meetings, talks
with other presidents, interviews and much more. I believe that it is not
for nothing that the whole world admires our president. He is a very
strong man.

Are You Influenced by Advertising?

In my opinion, advertising still affects people. After all, it is everywhere,

on buses, various banners, on the Internet and even cars. Every day we
see advertising in our lives. Take, for example, Instagram, when we look
at the pages or just flip through the news feed, we are constantly
advertising. On the one hand, it's annoying when you constantly see
these commercials and videos. But on the other hand, advertising can
be very relevant. I can give an example of myself. I went shopping for a
long time looking for sneakers. Yes, it would seem to be a popular
product and it can be easily found but no. Some sneakers are not high
quality, others I just do not like. And once when I was flipping through
the news I saw an ad for very good sneakers at a good price. I ordered
them. I was very happy to see this ad, because in my city the same
sneakers would cost twice as much.
Shopping Habits.
My whole family loves shopping. Like me. Usually my family goes
shopping in malls or simple shops in our city. They spend a lot of time
to find the right size, color, style. Moreover, they do not always find it
and return home without any purchases. And then they go to some
other shops or just other cities in the hope that there will be
something. But I don't like that. For me, online shopping is much better.
It is much more convenient and takes less time. I can say that you are
lying down to buy what you need. You have time to compare prices in
different stores, choose the size that you like and not the one that is
available.

Is It Better to Spend Your Money on Experiences or Possessions?

I think it's better to spend money on yourself.

I do not understand those people who instead of going to some courses or start
to improve themselves, spend all the money on cars (even if it is the third) for
various unnecessary purchases of clothes, even if you have two closets already
completely full. All these things will bring you happieness only about shopping
and then the first 3 days.

It seems to me that it is better to spend all this free money on travel. When you
travel, you seem to rest from your routine. During the trip you will constantly
learn something new. For example, how people live in this country, what are their
traditions and laws, what is the national dish and what is this country famous for.
And after the trip you will remember this experience for a lifetime.

Natural Disasters and Dealing with Them.

Natural disaster is a phenomenon that can occur for various

reasons, but always causes significant damage. Therefore, it is
important to think in time about protection measures that will help
prevent large-scale destruction. There are different types of natural
disasters, and one of the most powerful is floods. Floods in Ukraine
can have different causes, but always harm the environment,
population and infrastructure. Depending on the extent of the
damage, natural disasters can be small, large, significant or
catastrophic.
The least damage is caused by small floods near plain rivers. Major
natural disasters cover a large area, disrupt the normal rhythm of
human life and often require partial evacuation of people.

What is Environmental Responsibility?

We must all treat nature correctly, and follow certain rules so as not
to harm it. There is even a special term "environmental
responsibility." To some extent, almost all of us break these rules.
For example.
Most half of the world's population owns a car. And this is no longer
good for nature. Because the car emits a lot of bad substances into
the air, thereby polluting the environment. But now more and more
companies have begun to manufacture electric cars. And many
people deliberately buy them in order not to harm nature. I respect
such people very much, and I believe that they are doing everything
right.

What Makes a Good Citizen?

In my opinion, good citizens should first of all take care of the

environment of their city. For example, constantly go to nature
conservation events in their city. In Ukraine, such events are called
"Subotniki". I live in the village. There are a lot of nature around but
still need to take care of it. And every Saturday I go to such events to
do something for the village.
It is also very important for a good citizen to go to the polls. Many
say that he will not go to the polls because his one vote will not solve
anything. But this is not the case. If you do not care where you live,
what is happening around you and what will happen, then you must
do it.
Crime and Punishment.

Many people around the world commit crimes every day. And they
believe that they will not get anything for it. They think they are
special. But this is not the case. Sooner or later you will be punished
for every crime. Even if not from the law, then from life. I was told
from an early age that doing evil is bad. On the contrary, you need to
do good, and because of this you will feel better. The very feeling
that you have done something good or helped someone is very
pleasant. And you want to help people even more. I believe that
good must always defeat evil.

Home Reading.

Throughout the semester I read a very interesting book. It's about

love. So I love this genre, and I like detective. But this time I chose it.
This is a story about a girl Katya. She once said "yes" to one man and
painted pictures of home comfort, a happy family. However, the reality
turned out to be too far from romantic dreams. Her husband Kevin
turned out to be a cruel tyrant, a ruthless animal, a terrible owner who
turned his wife into a slave. She decided to run away. And it was very
unexpected. Because she had no money or a place to hide. The story
goes on how Katya searches for a home, travels to different cities in
America and meets different people. One day she met a guy named
Kevin who was her boss. He was a widower, but he had two more
children. Katya helped Kevin with the children, and later they had an
affair.

I really liked this book. Because everything was very spontaneous and
unexpected, and I love it.
My Viewing Habits.

When I have time, I like to watch something on YouTube or TV. But I

like YouTube the most. Because you don't have the opportunity to
watch what you want on TV. You see what they show. The situation
with YouTube is much different. If you want to see series you can do it.
If you want to watch a detective movie, you can do it. I really like
watching Ukrainian TV series. for example "Kyiv by day and by night".
I've watched this series many times and I still like it. This is a story
about young people who came to Kyiv to build their careers and
relationships.
