the art movement

it takes place in the surrealism.
definition of surrealism: the principles, ideals, or practice of producing fantastic or
incongruous imagery or effects in art, literature, film, or theater by means of unnatural or
irrational juxtapositions and combinations
What are the Characteristics of Surrealism? Being an abstract art that is not confined to
a specific style, Surrealist art can take many forms. You may identify it using distorted
images, dreamscapes, symbolism, and the bizarre representation and combination of
ordinary objects

description

it is like a beach at night with a sheet of paper folded like a cylinder on one side of the
sheet there is red curtains it and on the other side of the sheet there is a sea with sunny
weather and the beach is illuminated by the daylight

the colors that stand out the most are red, yellow and sky blue because it’s making a great
contrast with the navy blue at the background

I think that the feature of this work of art is that it is simple but complicated at the same
time

I had the feeling that is bending my mind

The Memoirs of a Saint is – whatever Magritte's expressed opposition to symbolism – an
allegory about the process of representation.

3 I’m not sure if I like or dislike this work of art but what I’m sure about is that I found it
very interesting in the fact that like I said it earlier it is simple but complicated at the same
time so that makes it incomprehensible for my mind
