Here is the sample of the Wedding Rite to be recited during the Wedding Mass.

This is how we exchange our vows in front of our guests, the officiating priest , and with Gods presence in the Holy Eucharist. The exchange of vows proved to be the higlight as the couple professed a very personal promised to love, cherish and honor one another.

RITE OF MARRIAGE
SAN AGUSTIN CHURCH, INTRAMUROS, MANILA C: May we ask the Parents and the Principal Sponsors, please stand at at either side of the couple, Candle sponsors, please light the candles. (The priest stands in front of the Couple) M: Dearly beloved Emille and Donna, you are here today to seal your love with an eternal bond before the Church I assure you of the prayers of our community that God may pour his abundant blessings on your love and help you carry out the duties of the married state. And you dear sponsors, parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends of Emille & Donna may I ask you to help them with your prayers and accept them as new couple in our Christian community. M: May I now ask you to answer truthfully the following questions. M: (to the Bride): Donna, did you come here of your own free will, to bind yourself forever in the love and service of your husband? Donna: Yes, Father. M: (to the Groom): Emille, did you come here of your own free will, to bind yourself forever in the love and service of your wife? Emille: Yes, Father. M: (to both): Are you both ready to raise as good Christians the children whom God will give you? Both: Yes, Father. M: (to both): Emille & Donna since you wish to contract Holy Matrimony, please join your right hands and express your intention before God and His church. (They join their right hands) M: (to the Bride): Donna, do you take Emille here present, for your lawful husband, according to the rite of our Holy Mother, the Church? Donna: Yes, I do.

M: Do you give yourself to him as his wife? Donna: Yes, I do. M: Do you accept him as your lawful hiusband? Donna: Yes, I do. M: (to the Groom): Emille, do you take Donna, here present, for your lawful wife, according to the rite of our holy Mother, the Church? Emille: Yes, I do. M: Do you give yourself to her as her husband? Emille: Yes, I do. M: Do you accept her as your lawful wife? Emille: Yes, I do. M: Now please say together. Both: Grant us, O Lord, to be one heart and soul, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part. M: And I, by the authority of the church, calling on all those present here as witnesses, confirm, and bless the bond of the marriage which you have contracted. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, + and of the Holy Spirit. P: Amen. M: Emille & Donna, we shall now bless you arrhae and rings. Our help is in the name of the Lord. P: He made heaven and earth. M: Let us pray. Bless + O Lord your servants Emille & Donna with sufficiency of material possessions which these arrahe symbolize so thar they may use them to attain eternal life. Through Christ our Lord. P: Amen. M: Bless + O Lord, these rings so that you servants Emille & Donna who wear them may ever live in mutual love and in unbroken loyalty. Through Christ our Lord. P: Amen.

(The priest sprinkles the arrahe and the rings with holy water. The priest picks up the wedding rings from the tray and says): M: Now give these rings to one another, and say after me: (The groom takes the bride's ring from the priest and puts it on the bride's right ring finger, saying:) Donna, wear this ring as a sign of my love and loyalty. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. (Then the bride takes the groom's ring from the priest and puts it on the groom's right ring finger, saying:) Emille, wear this ring as a sign of my love and loyalty. In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (The groom holds the arrhae in his cupped hands and the bride places her cupped hands under those of the groom. The groom lets the coins fall into the bride's hands, as he say:) I give you these arrhae as a pledge of my dedication to your welfare. In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (The bride accepting the arrhae, says): And I accept them. (The priest congratulates them aand goes back to the altar. The people may give a sign of approval.) C: Please all stand
